Green Delta and ESDO ink deal to pilot livestock insurance for farmers

News&Events

Green Delta Insurance recently hosted a dynamic workshop and knowledge-sharing session in Thakurgaon, in collaboration with ESDO (Eco-Social Development Organization) – marking a key milestone in our journey toward inclusive financial protection.

Recently , both organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under the Rural Microenterprise Transformation Project (RMTP), a transformative initiative funded by Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) and International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

As we prepare to pilot livestock insurance for 100 farmers, we engaged with local stakeholders to listen, learn, and co-create solutions. Their stories and insights reinforced the vital role of accessible insurance in strengthening rural livelihoods and resilience.

The event was graced by several distinguished attendees from both organizations. The session also brought together field-level private practitioners (DVMs), Local Service Providers (LSPs), farmers, and ESDO development officers — each contributing valuable perspectives to the dialogue.
