Green Delta Insurance PLC (GDIPLC) hosted a prestigious reward-giving ceremony on 5^th January, 2025 at Green Delta Head Office to honor the exceptional achievements of the participants from Eastern Bank PLC (EBPLC) in the “Banca Toofan” campaign. The event was graced by Mr. Khorshed Anowar, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail & SME Banking of EBPLC; Syed Moinuddin Ahmed, Additional Managing Director of GDIPLC; Senior management and Bancassurance team members from both the organizations, and valued Banca Stars from various branches of Eastern Bank.

Launched in August 2024, Banca Toofan was more than just a campaign—it was a movement aimed at inspiring bank employees to explore the world of insurance business alongside their regular job responsibilities. The campaign motivated numerous Eastern Bank employees to step out of their comfort zones and explore new opportunities.

The ceremony was filled with excitement, recognition, and a shared sense of accomplishment as participants and stakeholders reflected on the success of Banca Toofan and the future potential of Bancassurance in Bangladesh.
